Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has started the online application process for Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Exam 2025. Application dates and important information
Online application for SSC CHSL 2025 can be done from 23 June to 18 July 2025 (till 11 pm). The last date to submit the application fee is 19 July 2025. If any kind of mistake is made, then the facility of application correction will be available on 23 and 24 July.
Tier-I (CBT) exam will be held in September 2025, while Tier-II exam will be conducted in February-March 2026. To resolve any problem related to the application, toll-free helpline number 18003093063 can be contacted.
Who can apply
SSC has made it clear that the age of the candidate should be between 18 to 27 years on January 1, 2026. This means that candidates born between 2 January 1999 to 1 January 2008 are eligible. Reserved categories will be given age relaxation as per government rules.
For some special posts like DEO (Data Entry Operator), 12th pass from science stream and mathematics subject is mandatory. At the same time, for LDC/JSA and other DEO posts, only 12th pass is sufficient. If you have just given the 12th exam and are waiting for the result, you can still apply, provided that the required qualification is obtained by 1 January 2026.
Application Fee and Exemption
₹100 application fee has been fixed for general category candidates. But for female candidates, SC, ST, PwBD and ex-servicemen it is completely free.[Related-Posts]
Post Information and Selection Process
This time a total of 3131 vacancies are being recruited, out of which some posts are regular and some come under the backlog category. SSC has also given information that the detailed distribution of posts according to post and category will be released later on the website.
SSC has also clarified that this recruitment is not state or region wise, so interested candidates will have to get information from the concerned department.
