Under the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Yojana launched by the Government of India, if you install a solar system up to 3 kW, you will get 40% of the total cost as subsidy. For example, if the total cost of the solar system is ₹ 2 lakh, then you will get a subsidy of ₹ 80,000 and you will have to spend only ₹ 1.2 lakh.
