Application date and important information

SSC has released the official notification for recruitment to the posts of MTS and Havildar on 26 June 2025. Interested candidates have to fill their application form online by 24 July 2025. Apart from this, the last date for submission of application fee has been kept as 25 July 2025. If a candidate wants to correct his form, he will get a chance till 29 July 2025.
Keep in mind the qualification and age limit
Candidates applying for SSC MTS and Havildar post must have proof of class 10th pass from a recognized board. The age limit has been fixed from 18 to 25 years for MTS post and 18 to 27 years for Havildar post. Tests like physical ability such as height, chest measurement and running will also be taken for the post of Havildar.
Application fee and exemption facility
The application fee fixed by SSC is only ₹ 100 for candidates of General, OBC and EWS category. Whereas SC, ST, PWD and women of all categories are completely exempted from application fee. Selection Process and Exam Date
In the selection process, first of all the candidates will have to appear in the Computer Based Test (CBT), which will be conducted between 20 September to 24 October 2025. Selection for MTS will be done after examination and document verification. At the same time, Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) will also be required after CBT for the post of Havildar. After this there will be document verification and medical examination.

Candidates have to do One Time Registration (OTR) by visiting the official website of SSC. Then login, fill the application form, upload the required documents and submit by paying the application fee online.
